Product Review: Ella Gold Whitening Lotion

I know you're wondering why a brown skinned girl would write a review on a whitening lotion, well I'll explain how I got the lotion.

My sweet Mum went shopping for the things we needed at home and also for the things I'll need for school. She was looking for a suitable cream for my skin when the seller recommended Ella Gold Whitening Lotion to her promising her that I was going to fall in love with the lotion. So she bought  it without noticing the whitening lotion written on the carton. When she got home she was so happy to tell me about the lotion she had bought for me. She told me where she kept it and I couldn't wait to see it. When I opened the pack lo and behold all I could see there was whitening lotion!

I thanked her for it and asked if it could be returned because I don't want anything that will spoil my brown skin. She said she couldn't and that she'll just get me another one. I told her not to bother because I've come to realize that not all whitening lotion bleaches the skin, so I decided to give this lotion a trial and this is what happened to my skin...

What Happened To My Skin ?

After using the product for about  month, I must say that I'm still brown skinned with no traces of bleached skin. It really is a moisturizing lotion. I only need to apply the lotion once and my skin would look great through out the day.

What I like About The Product

1. I love the packaging. It's well packaged and very attractive to the eyes

2. I like the scent

3. I love the fact that it makes my skin soft and smooth

4. It doesn't bleach the skin. It helps maintain your skin color

What I don't like About The Product

1. The lotion does not come out easily. The container is to hard to press

2. The scent doesn't last for long

Price Of Product And Where It Can Be Found

My Mum bought it for N800 (naira). So I guess you should be able to get it between N800-N1000.
You can get it in any beauty shop, or an online store.

I didn't apply the lotion to my face so I don't know if it'll have any effect. I use another product for my face. Let me know if you'd like me to write on my facial moisturizer
